Music downloads!

I was wondering, is anybody planing on selling any of there original works online in the future? I would buy it in a second! Also I sometimes hear mumblings that it is "selling out to sell your own music" but, I have to disagree you should be able to sell your own hard work! ^^ Producers in Japan sell their works on itunes! Just type in "Miku Hatsune" to see for your self!

I plan to make one or two commertial albums, after my initial "four seasons" album quatrology is finished.
maby one or two singles as well.

But my first four albums and probably some others in the future as well will be for free.

if you want to download my albums: I have published links to my two finished ones on my blog.
And as for "Rewind the Autumn Monsoon": only one more song to go, then it's finished and will also be up for DL.

dont you need to be labeled, so they set copyright on your stuff in order to sell it ?

Your "stuff" is usually copyrighted, when you make it in most countries.

for example: when you upload an image into the internet, it is automatically copyrighted.

however you need to buy a protection for your Label/Brand, otherwise other people can steal it.

If I don't protct my name, technically other people could call themn selfes Kentai-P

because my music is directed at a global audience.

Does anyone know did those Vocaloid producers on iTunes get their work protected automatically when their songs were accepted there or did they bought the protection separately somewhere before they joined the site? Also, any idea where/how to buy protection for your label?

creative work is AUTOMATICALLY protected. Your name / lable / brand isn't.

You upload your songs to itunes and noone has the right to resell or anything without your permission and without paying you.
