Untitled Project #1 need lyrics also presenting how i am gonna make future originals

After hours of mixing, i came up with this.

Actually i dont have any lyrics yet (just have some ideas, but lets see what you guys can suggest ), so kinda need some lyrics going heh. In a first step i want the lyrics in english or japanese (preferably japanese 1st), but more important
i want a real singer singing

Then from this singer performance i will use MikuMikuVoice to map vocaloid on his performance. And yeah at this moment i will need japanese lyrics (shouldnt be hard to get lyrics from english to japanese, only arranging them can actually be hard)


Wondering why i go through such a process ?
Crazy idea heh but i think it is fun to involve many peoples and i want to mix some real vocal performance. It also contribute to humanize vocaloid. And isnt the purpose of this board to form group project ?

The english version can act as an official english version too so if you are an amazing singer, it is the opportunity to show off your talent .

Lyricist and singer can be the same person but if they are different, myself and the singer will be the judges.

In the download there is instrumental and midi file of the melody lyrics, it is still suggesting if you need to rearrange notes or even make a new melody go ahead.

My ears are also completely blasted (now i know why they use 3 different sound engineer in music industry lol), so need some feedback on the track itself.
I still think piano and string sound strange, really not obvious to Equalize these 2 instruments and the reverse crash and crash at the end may sound "harsh" on HiFi speaker.


I kinda want to proceed this way to make originals and if it fails i am already on my way to learn japanese (gonna take 1 year or 2 ) to be fully independant to make vocaloid songs, still i prefer the group project way since it sounds fun lol. Still if the way i want to go fail, i could just use the help of someone to make japanese lyrics.


It is just an idea of project to incite collaboration and finnaly all that stuff only happen if you have fun, so dont force yourself

Personnaly i just enjoy to make music with or without lyrics

I´m with Kentai about the melody. Otherwise this is a very beautiful piece of music.

If no-one else volunteers, I could try to write lyrics. Though it depends on what you have in mind about this song´s theme. I suck hard when it comes to things like love. Thankfully this doesn´t sound like very happy song. What was in your mind when you were composing this?

And if I get the position of lyricist and if you dislike what I come up with, I can always draw art for this song. ^^

Btw. I´ve studied some Japanese so if I try very hard I can probably also translate those English lyrics I write into Japanese. I highlight the word probably...

hehe i already knew the melody sucked.

And sure you guys can remake the melody if you want, but when making it make sure it is in the human singing range and it has some break for breathing, you always consider these 2 parameters when making lyrics. I think you can be multiple to make lyrics, that look like some sort of brainstorming.

I can also replace some instrument chord by lyrics if needed (at 4:07 there is a french horn playing a chord can have by example some "aaa" choir instead and can also replace the higher note of the sustain strings chord by lyrics or just get lyrics playing along)

Well when i made this i am gonna be honest that was completely random, but yeah for some theme i was thinking about :

War, A ruined world, a society that crush weakling, narrating the tale of a mermaid (sound strange but there is a harp playing on the left that's why i thought about that lol), a person devored by an incurable disease.

Hum thats all i have in my mind.


Just noticed the track is a bit heavy in high frequency kinda need to re-equalize a bit.

Great sounding theme! I´ve always loved dark songs mixed with a little bit of fantasy.

But I think it´s better for me to step aside and leave the lyrics for Bash Chelik. I´ve read some of her lyrics and they are much better compared to mine. I can still help with art and translation if it´s okay with you.
