Dance in the Vampire Bund

So, who watched the series?

I sure did and it was simply awesome!

Not only this nice good old vampire werwolve theme, but the whole story was incredible.
I was in it's grasp from episode one to twelve!

Now what I found very fascinating at the begining is how they wrapped the whole introduction to the 'yokai' aspect of the series into this phony, trashy talk show. It was such a great introduction!

And judging by the way pictures were sequenced, how real, rendered photographs were worked into the stream of images, and there were certain blinks with one colored screens I can only asume, that the director must be the same as the one from bakemonogatari.

I mean: the similarities were huge!

anyone got further intel on this?

You were absolutely right, Kentai, when you thought Bakemonogatari and this series are directed by the same person. The man behind these series is Akiyuki Shinbo, my favorite anime director. I just love his unique style and humor. You might know some other popular series he´s directed like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Maria Holic and Hidamari Sketch. I haven´t yet watched Vampire Bund, but I will as soon as I have enough time. ^-^

There had to be a connection between the named two and Sayonara Setsubou Sensei!!

gosh I totaly recognized that all three belonged to the same unique totaly new kind of anime which so reminds of modern art xD

For the love of god, when did I say that Dance in the Vampire Bund is a childrens anime?! By all means it is not and it shouldn't be watched by children at all.
