New smilies?

I've been talking to Kentai about the smileys in the forum and I'm curious what you people think of this...

For a forum that never really opened I've been making smilies to replace the standard ones since they look a little... well... silly and unprofessional to me.

So he agreed that I could open a poll to ask what the users prefer.

Old style:


Music note style:


The music note smilies are somewhat tiny, but if I make them larger they will cause gaps in between text lines.

Bear in mind that this was the base colour I chose based on a different forum. I can always recolour them to white, blue, green, etc. if necessary.

What do you think?

I think that's pretty cool, you could also do vocaloid or UTAU smileys as well.
But if I have to choose, I like the music note smileys.

The current ones are very generic. I like the more unique-looking music note ones you made.

That's a good idea~ I'd love to make some VOCALOID and UTAU smilies, though I might just make some generic portraits for them because it's hard to make lots of different smilies for both VOCALOID and UTAU...

New smilies would be nice. I like the music notes! They are very cute!

I didn't mean that actual smiley picture. I just want to know if there will be one for the ":" and "P" text (the one I used earlier. I don't actually like that default smiley but the forum turns that code into smiley by default :/).

Perhaps we could make the new music note smilies the default -- add a little character and originality to our forum :3 -- and keep the old ones as well? ^^; so we have a variety to choose from? :3
