my problem with VOtaku is, that whenever I upload a song there, that I have worked on really hard and therefor want some appreciation for, I get maby 20-40 views and thats it.
maby 1-3 comments on every 3 songs.
That was always very frustrating, but possibly explainable with the fact, that the board is flooding with so many topics and songs of mainly japanese artists, that my little songs just dron within.
It has been for a long time, that I thought:
Man, I know 3 or 4 western producers and 6 or 7 western UTAU producers. Whats wrong? Where are all those people who make music outside of japan?
And I realized that there just wasn't any gathering spot for those people, they were, like the japanese say "Barabara", scattered all over the place.
So I made this board, took whomever I could find and guided them here.
Now the people who found here have to tell the Producers, artists and whatnow people involved in the creative process, that we are here and waiting for them.
I love it how so soon, people here already started forming group projects and working together.
Asking questions and answering them.
giving tutorials.

finally a place to talk to and work with professionals and maby become one yourself.
