VCC Homepage ONLINE

It is done!

the new Homepage for the Vocaloid Creativity Community is up and running.
We have three selectable themes:

"Megaphone Rin"
"Miku Clouds"
"SakuraCosmos Luka"

so everyone can view the page to their taste. (more templates will come.)

the VCC Hompage will not only act as a portal to the board, but will also provide the readers with valuable informations about on the Vocaloid and UTAU world, as well as hot board topics and VCC events.

I have already given out the first journalist jobs and Vai was as kind as to release the first Vocaloid News article.

I have great expectations for the page and am sure, that it will strengthen our presence in the Vocaloid and UTAU world.

I love it content-wise, but i think the layout (pictures/bg's) could be a little more organized, when i first went to the page...i thought it was kind of an eyesore.

I think this is one of those 'less is more' situations. But still, great job on making the site!

did you try the "Miku Clouds" template?

it's less loaded.

I suppose it's best if I make that the default template^^

yeah, i switched it to that one and it was much better, it just seems the Rin and Luka ones are a bit too overloaded with graphics in my opinion.

Nice art design, i think the only disturbing thing is the article font color it is too dark (dark grey on 100% black background make things hard to read)

Rin with glasses is so epic win

she sure is.

I'll lighten up the fontcolor, kay?

Edit: I have changed the font-color from #777 to #999. Thats brighter ^-^

btw, since it wasn't that bad before either in my oppinion:
do you use IE?

Because crappy IE does not support "rgba" in CSS, thus it doesn't display the nifty half transparent boxes, I have wrapped around the content.

Content still is viewabable through the IE and it also looks appealing. But the way it is supposed to display is still better.

Recommended is Firefox.
Maby I'll add an "This site Recommends the use of Firefox for display" or sth. like that.

Oh an I have added a new feature to the page:

a Guestbook!

now people can tell us what they think of the page and say hi.

I know it's an article about VOCALOID instead of UTAU, but it's easier to find VOCALOID news than UTAU news that applies to UTAU in general...
