Hello everyone. I'm Armageddon11. I have no qualms with being called Arma or A11. Another prominent nickname for me is Pocky, though what a Japanese snack food has to do with the end of the world is another can of worms altogether.


I do not own any Vocaloid software. I'm mostly here to hopefully learn more about them, having recently gotten really into them. I have somewhat used software similar (as far as I can tell anyway) to it in the past, but I failed at it. I failed at music theory too.


I know no Japanese. Any little Japanese I do know will be butchered fanboy Japanese. Any hope I have of learning a new language is shattered when I remember the total lack of interest I had learning French. Which despite three years of lessons I never successfully did. Go figure.


So yeah, I have very little to offer to the project. Which is a shame really, I like the feeling that I'm contributing positively to something. I have no skills I feel I can call my own, which is kinda why I'm here. I keep attempting things I'm bad at, this case being Music. True I've been editing Wikis for a while now, and I participate in collaborative fan fictions quite a bit, but that doesn't mean I'm good at editing or writing. I'm currently taking an IT course at a local college, but that again by no means should imply I'm good at what I do. I hope you'll all put up with me

Don't you worry; I'm all but useless as well! I can do mediocre art, bu I own exactly ZERO Vocaloids. I still don't even have an UTAU. So yeah, I'm a lyricist mostly, but I think I fail at that, too. XD

also there is a free software for sound sampling, I always forget it's name... wait....

it's for making music on your PC :3

probably not as good as FL Studio, but it is free and I heard nothing but nice things about it.

my tipp:
get the software and start playing with it. Do some trial and error, read some faqs and helps and tuts on it.
Familiarize yourself with it.

Soon music will come.

And when you feel a bit more comfortable look for new instruments.
there are great vstis, instrument plugins that can be used in many different programms and so-called soundfonts, which contain full sound-banks on single or multiple instruments ^-^
