I have a really lazy, slurred, and informal way of talking whenever I speak in Japanese, I notice.

Hey, Crossfrown here! I was having trouble with the distinct lack of support for my music specialty (writing music and absolutely nothing else) on VO, so it's like, why not.

This place seems to be super empty though, oh man.

So yeah. I draw pretty pictures and write half decent music, though I'm constantly in fear of unconsciously stealing from other songs (something my brain is actually conditioned to do). If you recognize a tune, tell me, because you are probably right. :C

I can't read music and I'm terrible at playing by ear, so I have no idea what I'm doing in the music business anyways. 6_9

And yeah VO is more for fan than producer because people will never comment your stuff in a objective way so you dont know if you are doing something right or wrong, or if you are improving or not etc...

The board is still new though so just need to give time.

well if a tune sounds like an exisiting one i dont think you are stealing it ( as long as the full track is not the same). See the I-IV-V chord progression was used for like 1 billon times.

I know we are still a pretty small club, but we have a strong core group and I have high hopes for the futur.

There are only so many western producers and artists and the connection between them is nothing like the japanese comunity.

So it is pretty tough contacting them and getting them to move here.

Good to see another familiar face around the boards here. Yes, this is the most dedicated site you're going to find regarding actually making VOCALOID stuff. Since we're relatively new, there's nothing better for boosting activity than posting a lot and being helpful.

Crossfrown is personally responsible for saving my ass when I was waiting for an unnamed person to finish exporting a line with Sonika for one of my songs. Needless to say, said person stalled for months on a line of less than 25 words, after which Crossfrown jumped in and saved the day by whipping Sonika into shape in less than 2 days.

I'll have you know that the song is done now and waiting on the PV to be released together for the first time on YouTube next Halloween.
