    'm asking because I think Ama's voice needs a tune-up....BADLY.

Long story short, my UTAU sounds like a man IMO, I want to fix that. Any recording tips for keeping her voice mature sounding, but still being feminine? I would really appreciate the tips.

(also, post your opinions of ama's voice here if you've heard her, i need critiquing on that)

She sounds distictively female to me. You could try recording at a slighly higher note if you're really insecure about it, but I think she sounds fine and very unique against other UTAUs.

I agree that she sounds feminine as it is. Plus her voice is a valuable good-sounding alto. I wouldn't change a thing.

Are you sure you're not just self-conscious about the tone of your voice? If so, I'd say to embrace it. High-pitched girl voices are a dime a dozen and can get grating and annoying.

but in all seriousness, I think the timbre Ama-chan's voice is perfect the way it is now :3 but if you really want her to sound more feminine, you could always just add flags like maybe g-3 or something. ^3^
